Jacob is the Editor-in-Chief at Uniphonic.com, a music producer and award-winning sound designer leading a small team of synth obsessives who test, teach, and create. He sets the editorial bar for Uniphonic’s deep-dive reviews and hands-on guides to virtual instruments—especially modern powerhouses like Hive 2, Serum, and Diva—and translates sound-design theory into practical, playable results for producers at any level.
Beyond the words, Jacob steers Uniphonic’s own sound libraries and expressive patches, known for nuanced dynamics and “feels-right-under-the-fingers” control across genres from EDM to ambient and rock.
When he’s not curating coverage or shaping patch packs, you’ll find him in the DAW designing textures, recording oddities, and pushing synthesis to musical places. His north star: sounds that spark ideas—and content that helps you finish tracks.
